We collect your name, username, email, phone number, relationship to Sigma Mu, and any optional profile or associated-student information you provide. We also keep access status, administrative activity, parent-relations notes, and Parents Fund donation records. Google sign-in provides account identity information used for registration.
Information supports account approval, the private parent directory, chapter updates, parent relations, and the Parents Fund. Approved portal accounts can see parent directory profiles and contact details you choose to publish. Your registration email, phone number, and associated-student information are private to you and appropriately authorized administrators. Administrative notes and other parents’ donation histories are not available to ordinary parents.
Executive Staff profiles are excluded from the Parent Directory. Authorized account administrators can still manage staff accounts.
Supabase provides authentication, database and file storage. GitHub Pages hosts the website. Google supports optional sign-in. Stripe securely processes donations and handles payment information under its own privacy policy. The portal stores donation references, amounts, status and refunds; it does not store card numbers. These providers may process information outside your location.
Your browser stores an authentication session to keep you signed in. Hosting and infrastructure providers may retain technical access and security logs. Automatic newsletter emails are disabled initially. Account administration and essential authentication messages may still be sent.
You can update your profile and remove optional directory contacts. Do not provide sensitive information about students in public directory fields. Contact support to request access, correction, account deactivation, or deletion. We retain records as needed for portal operations, security, chapter administration, donation accounting, and applicable obligations. Deactivation removes profiles from active directory and parent-relations views but does not erase donation or audit records automatically.
